Born in 1993 in Palencia, Spain, Carlos Rodriguez Casado has always been fascinated by the art of illustration. In 2011, he moved to the Spanish capital of Madrid, where he would go on to study Graphic Design, later abandoning the design track to return to his true passion for illustration.
Carlos continues to develop his craft, primarily as an editorial and press illustrator, where he focuses exclusively on his signature watercolor technique to create portraits and caricatures. His collaborations can be found predominantly in national publications such as El Mundo, as well as magazines like Metrópoli, Líbero, Interviú, and other international media properties.
In 2015, one of his pieces became the official key art hero image for MTV’s international hit TV series, Teen Wolf, leading to a digital billboard exhibition in Times Square, as well as a curated gallery exhibit at The Art Director’s Club of New York.
Most recently, Carlos has combined his art with his love for teaching, offering workshops and online classes in schools throughout Madrid, as well as online via the Domestika platform.
